Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
UVARA Jewelry accepts claims for returns, replacements, or refunds only under the following conditions:
- Authorized Purchase: The products must be purchased directly from UVARA Jewelry.
- Inspection Period (Arrival Defects): Visible structural or cosmetic defects must be reported within 7 working days of signing for the shipment receipt.
- Warranty Period (Quality Issues): Functional issues (e.g., severe fading, breakage) must be claimed within the specific warranty period:
- PVD Stainless Steel Jewelry: 365 Days
- Gold-plated Brass / 925 Silver Jewelry: 180 Days
- Warranty Period (Quality Issues): Functional issues (e.g., severe fading, breakage) must be claimed within the specific warranty period:
- Non-Human Damage: The issue must be a manufacturing defect and not caused by misuse, improper storage, or unauthorized alteration.
Covered Defects
We cover defects arising from production errors, including but not limited to:
- Structural Defects: Broken chains, loose clasps, falling stones, or disconnected jump rings.
- Cosmetic Defects: Peeling plating, obvious scratches, deformation, or incorrect logo engraving.
- Order Discrepancies: Missing items or incorrect sizes/colors compared to the confirmed order.
Return & Claim Process
To initiate a claim, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Document the Issue Identify the defective item(s), including the Model Number (SKU) and Quantity.
Step 2: Submit Evidence Take clear photos or videos showing the defect. Send this evidence along with your Order Number to our after-sales team at: 📧 Email: [Insert Email, e.g., stiles@jewelrymy.com] We aim to respond to all inquiries within 2 working days.
Step 3: Assessment & Approval Our team will review the evidence remotely. In most cases, physical return is not required for obvious manufacturing defects.
- Note: If a physical inspection is deemed necessary, we will provide instructions on how to ship the items back to our Dongguan facility.
Step 4: Resolution Once the claim is approved, we will offer one of the following solutions based on your preference:
- Replenishment (Recommended): New replacements will be shipped with your next order.
- Credit/Refund: The value of the defective items will be credited to your account for future orders or directly refunded (negotiable based on amount).
- Repair: For high-value batches, we may arrange a return for repair.
Exclusions & Limitations
Returns or warranties do not cover the following:
- Normal Wear & Tear: Slight scratches or natural oxidation that occur over time with regular use.
- Improper Care: Damage caused by exposure to harsh chemicals (e.g., perfumes, cleaning agents, swimming pool chlorine).
- Unauthorized Modification: Items that have been resized, re-plated, or altered by a third party.
- Clearance/Custom Items: Custom-made designs (OEM/ODM) are non-refundable unless there is a verified quality deviation from the approved sample.
Shipping Costs for Returns
- Manufacturing Defects: If a return is required due to our fault (quality issue or wrong shipment), UVARA Jewelry will bear the shipping costs for the return and replacement.
- Client Errors: Shipping costs for returns due to client ordering errors or change of mind (where applicable) shall be borne by the client.
